Statement of Beliefs
Grace & Glory Fellowship Church

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old & New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts, which are to be interpreted by revelatory insight and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Fatherhood of God over creation as one of measureless extent. This Fatherhood is a relationship of intimacy and love. It is this Father, Who gave us His only begotten Son, Who secures our salvation eternally if we believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified on the cross, buried, raised from the dead bodily, and ascended to the right hand of His Father that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.

He is the way, truth and the life and the only way to the Father is through Him.

We believe that Jesus Christ will personally return for His church, that in His subsequent return to earth with His saints, He will establish His universal Kingdom.

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and baptizes all believers into the one true Church, which is the Body of Christ. He bestows spiritual gifts, indwells, seals, fills, and guides those who yield to Him.

We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam's sin all humanity fell and became spiritually dead (separated from God), incapable of self-restoration.

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, available to all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ including the cross. Those who trust the Lord Jesus Christ are instantaneously forgiven of their sins and born (conveyed, grafted) into the family of God.

We believe that all who have trusted and put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are kept forever by God's power securely in Christ.

We believe that every saved person has been given provision for victory of the new nature over the old nature through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

We believe that at death the spirits of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation pass immediately into His presence and remain until the resurrection of the body.

We believe that after death the spirits of unbelievers pass into Hades until the final judgment.

We believe that the true church, called the Body of Christ, is a spiritual organism into which true believers (those who have trusted and placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation in this present age) have been baptized into by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Lord Jesus instituted two ordinances for all believers to observe until His return: Water baptism and the Lord's Supper. These are acts of worship and obedience.
